About Furness & South
Furness & South Cumberland Supply Association Limited is an Agricultural Co-operative supplying farmers and the rural community across Cumbria with a wide range of quality products and services. Established on 13th September 1880, this makes us one of the oldest Agricultural Co-operatives. We are owned by farmers for the benefit of famers. We have 4 depots throughout Cumbria, our product range includes Animal Feed, Fertiliser, Fuel, Animal Health, Hardware, Clothing and much more. To date we have over 850 shareholder members.
We are proud members of United Farmers, a federal co-operative founded in 1971. Essentially a ‘not for profit’ purchasing agency its main goal is to consolidate the buying power of co-operatives in order to deliver competitive advantage through scale of purchasing.
Our aim is to deliver the best products at the best value for all our members in the farming community. Service is our priority; we ensure our members and customers are always offered the right advice and best practice. We respond efficiently and offer the best service and support when needed.
